Fit Valentine’s Day: Chocolate–Strawberry Protein Crêpes

Valentine’s Day desserts usually come with one issue: they’re delicious… and they can blow up your nutrition plan.

This year, you can keep it romantic and performance-friendly. These protein crêpes are soft, sweet, and topped with a creamy chocolate–strawberry layer. We’re using LIOT Egg Whites, your favorite Whey protein Whey100 (vanilla or chocolate), and if you want to level up your daily routine: creatine (optional).

Recipe: Valentine’s Day Protein Crêpes (serves 2)

Ingredients (8–10 mini crêpes)

For the batter

  • 250 ml LIOT Egg Whites
  • 1 scoop Whey protein Whey100 (vanilla or Brownie Choc)
  • 60 g flour (oat flour / sweet potato flour / regular flour)
  • 1 ripe banana or 1 tbsp applesauce (for softness)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • A splash of milk (only if needed to adjust thickness)

Chocolate–strawberry topping

  • 150 g skyr or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Sweetener or honey (optional)
  • 150–200 g strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Dark chocolate shavings (optional)

Optional performance add-on

  • 5 g creatine (best mixed into the cold topping, not cooked)

Instructions (10 minutes)

  1. Make the batter: mix LIOT egg whites + whey. Add flour, baking powder, salt, then banana/applesauce.
    If the batter feels too thick, add a small splash of milk.
  2. Cook: heat a non-stick pan on medium. Pour small portions to make mini crêpes (easier to flip + cuter for Valentine’s). Cook 60–90 seconds per side.
  3. Prepare the topping: mix skyr/Greek yogurt + cocoa (+ sweetener if you want).
    Add creatine here (optional) and stir.
  4. Plate like a Valentine’s dessert: stack the crêpes, spread the chocolate cream, top with strawberries.
    Pro tip: slice a few strawberries into heart shapes for the finishing touch.

Extra dessert upgrade (still “fit”)

  • Chocolate whey in the batter + cocoa skyr topping + dark chocolate shavings
  • Or vanilla whey + strawberries + a light drizzle of strawberry coulis

Creatine tip (simple + practical)

Creatine is optional here. If you use it, the key is consistency (often 5 g/day). 
The easiest way is mixing it into the cold topping, so there’s no cooking involved.
